About

A writer, musician and travel-addict from London currently trying to navigate those awkward post-uni years with minimum loss of sanity and maximum wandering around far-flung corners of the world.

I’ve recently returned from a wonderful year living in the most underrated country in the world (it’s Ethiopia, fyi), where I did a bit of teaching amazing kids and a lot of working for Oxfam GB editing and blogging and things, not to mention of  theatrical haggling, habesha dancing, curious wandering and pretending to like arsenal. I don’t know where I’m going next yet (probably southeast Asia), but it’s going to take some beating.

Aside from getting deeeep into other cultures and writing about it, I love literature, history, music and puns  (I really love puns. Once I created a ‘pun  soc’ on facebook. illustrated with a picture of a sock. oh dear god…).

HI!

PS

I live on twitter here.

….…spent a good hour reading your blog and indeed it is a very refreshing gr8 writing….the fact that I met you in this salam (peace) hotel restaurant a little while ago made the reading more interesting (-:
I hope we will go early morning to see the celebration in the church and learn some more about the people of this amazing country.
    Thx
